HOW TO FILE A CLAIM

NEW: YOUR VEHICLE STORED OUTDOORS MAY QUALIFY FOR COVERAGE!

  • VEHICLES STORED MUST BE FULLY OPERABLE AND PROPERLY REGISTERED AND TITLED BY LAW (OR LEASED) IN THE PRIMARY TENANT'S NAME.
  • VEHICLES IN THE SPACE MUST BE LISTED ON THE LEASE AND PROPERLY DOCUMENTED WITH THE FACILITY OPERATOR.
  • TENANTS SHOULD DOCUMENT THEIR VEHICLE WITH PHOTOS BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE FACILITY. 
  • TENANTS MUST SECURE THE VEHICLE (LOCK DOORS / WINDOWS / COMPARTMENTS). TO AVOID CLAIM DISPUTES TENANTS SHOULD USE TONGUE OR WHEEL LOCKS AS NEEDED.
  • TENANTS MUST PROVIDE OPERATOR WITH TITLE/REGISTRATION AND VEHICLE DESCRIPTION DURING BOOKING OR FOR ANY VEHICLE TRANSFERS
  • PROTECTION PLANS COVER ALL OPERABLE AND REGISTERED VEHICLES STORED WITHIN A SPACE, UP TO THE PLAN LIMITS, WHEN DOCUMENTED ON THE LEASE.

How to File a Claim

  1. Notify the manager.
  2. Take photos of any damage to your items and the storage unit. Please take photos of the source of damage if possible. DO NOT throw anything away until you speak with a claims specialist.
